Schummy Posted January 26, 2015 Posted January 26, 2015 Quick question, need advice. Just bought a brand new GT Karakoram Comp, noticed that the front tyre is 2.2 wide and the back tyre is 2.0 wide, is this supposed to be like this?
Aaron_B Posted January 27, 2015 Posted January 27, 2015 Sounds about right. Front tyre tends to be thicker for more grip, seeing as this is where the surface purchase comes from. Rear, narrow for less rolling resistance.
