tombeej Posted March 22, 2015 Posted March 22, 2015 3 km to the Poggio and the two escapees have 30 seconds on the bunch.
tombeej Posted March 22, 2015 Posted March 22, 2015 Everybody is now getting very restless, big names trying to get to the front with 1 km to the Poggio.
tombeej Posted March 22, 2015 Posted March 22, 2015 Paolini driving the chase up the Poggio with EBH still is a good spot near the front.
tombeej Posted March 22, 2015 Posted March 22, 2015 Thomas has 15 seconds with 1 km to the top. Now Gilbert goes! And Stybar goes with him. Now GVA launches.
tombeej Posted March 22, 2015 Posted March 22, 2015 Thomas has been caught after those attacks. Now they're descending. The big names are all still in play.
tombeej Posted March 22, 2015 Posted March 22, 2015 Sagan comes to the front, and EBH too. Getting very nervous now. 800m to go.
tombeej Posted March 22, 2015 Posted March 22, 2015 Kristoff being led out by Paolini to the line. But Degenkolb takes it on the line!
tombeej Posted March 22, 2015 Posted March 22, 2015 Kristoff second.I think Matthews 3rd and Sagan 4th.
tombeej Posted March 22, 2015 Posted March 22, 2015 Without question, my absolute favourite time of the year. There are so many contenders this year, we can expect 2015 to be a cracking year for the classics! My punt for this year: Degenkolb. Watch out for this guy. Barring mishap or injury, I see a monument or 2 behind his name this year. My hope for this year: to see the new MTN lads make their mark. From what they're saying in the press, it certainly sounds like they are all super energised about their new home. I just hope that translates to the road and they all pull 100% for whoever is strongest on the day.Called it
