Giant Xtc Advanced frame serial number help

Bike was stolen and I have two possible frame serial numbers, but not sure which one is the correct one. Anyone who could advise or who has the same make and model to check serial number resemblance, please help! According to me the frame is a 2012 frame, but the website says its 2013. The reason I say so is that the FAQ section on the website states that the 3rd digit of the serial number is the year the frame was manufactured. The numbers are: GL2V3132 and EN14766.

Where did you hear that ? I have a 2014 Giant none of the two numbers under the bike have a 4 in them though never mind it been the 3rd digit, if i remember when I registered the bike on Giants Warranty website i used the "serial" that started with G

Your seriel number is the GL number. The EN14766 number is a test which they do for frame safety.
