Noodleontheloose Posted February 17, 2015 Posted February 17, 2015 I'm looking to buy my first road bike for a triathlon later this year. Still debating whether to get aluminium or carbon, buy here new or second hand and take with me to South Korea where I currently reside or just purchase in Korea (where bikes seem to be a bit pricier, but not hugely so). Does anyone know how much it costs to take a bike on a plane? Advice for what kind of road bike to buy as a novice, for a triathlon where I'm not racing to win but simply to finish and keep improving my time if I decide to continue competing. Any advice will be much appreciated.
