quintonb Posted March 3, 2015 Posted March 3, 2015 If its a Vintage frame and by "Vintage" you mean old and worth something, then powder coating is a NO NO. To retain the value do 1 of 2 things: 1. Leave as is 2. Restore and get the paint job done by a professional. If by "Vintage" you mean old steel frame that has no history and you want to turn it into a SS then by all means Powder coat.Just try and do some research before jumping in, you may have a piece of history that you could potentially ruin by powder coating. Post pics and the guys here can take a look and give feedback.
