Celebrate the Youth Day public holiday with a run between the vineyards, stunning views & singletrack in the Simonsberg Conservancy. There will be youth categories in every distance, so bring the family!

DATE: Tuesday, 16 June 2015

WHERE: Dirtopia Trail Centre, Delvera Farm, on R44 about 10 km from Stellenbosch

REGISTRATION: from 07h30 at Dirtopia Trail Centre

START TIMES & DISTANCES:

15km start at 09h00, 12.5km start at 09h15, 7.5km at 09h30 and the 5km at 09h45

 

ROUTE DESCRIPTION: The longer routes offer great climbing on jeep track through the vineyards towards Klapmutskop with rewarding singletrack trails and scenic wineland views from the waterpoint of Table Mountain in the distance. The 5km circles through the vineyards and around the farm dams with lots of birdlife.

 

COST: Pre-entries (close on the 11th of June):

5km – R70, 7.5km – R85, 12.5km – R105 15km – R115

 

Late entries (if available, taken on event day):

5km – R70 (no medal, no waterpoint)

7.5km – R100, 12.5km – R120 15km – R130

 

Timing will be done with Amarider Trail Tags. No tag, no time: available for rent or to buy.

 

Prize Giving Categories:

5km 6-10 years & overall men & women 10+ years

7.5km 11-17 years & overall men & women 17+ years

12.5km 17+ Overall men & women

15km 17+ Overall men & women

 

GENERAL INFO: Coke for all finishers, as well as a medal for the three longer distances

Note that there are limited entries available, so enter soon.

There will be a refreshment station on long routes (with powerade, fruit & nuts/jellys) Make sure you stay for prizegiving & luckydraw around 11h00.
