Women’s Commission Introduces Invitational Teams for Autumn Series UCI Road Races

When we learned a couple of months ago that Cycling South Africa will be putting on a series of UCI road races in KwaZulu-Natal we knew that this was important for women’s cycling in South Africa to gain valuable UCI points (international ranking points). The more UCI points that we have as a nation the more women we will be able to send to 2016 Olympic Games in Rio. Apart from the UCI points these races also raise the profile of road cycling and draw international competition to South Africa.
