Spez Crave Comp ?

Hey

 

Anybody riding this bike or have tried it ?

 

I know that it does not necessarily represent the best possible value, as a Silverback Sola 1 is better specced and costs the same I know, but I am really leaning towards getting one. I have kooked at Scotts and Giants in the same price range but didn't much like the look of them, especially compared to the Spez, which is gorgeous. Should I bite the bullet and start saving (and preparing for the hate) or am I missing something better ?

 

I have a thick skin so have a go !

Generally I usually say go for the better specced bike but in this instance I think it is better for you to see if you can arrange a test bike of each one (Spez and Silverback) and give each one a go on the trails you think you'll be riding on. See how each one handles and see if you have a preference after such testing and buy that bike.

 

However with all that said Spez and Silverback make great bikes and neither bike would be a bad ride.
