As usual racing will start at 7pm, but we strongly suggest that you arrive and warm up from 6pm.  The track will be open for warm-up up to 6:50pm.

Categories

• Cat 1 – Elite and qualifying riders only.
• Cat 2 – Ladies, racing juniors, vetted club riders and other qualifying riders only.
• Cat 3 – New riders and riders not qualifying for the other categories.
• Youth – Junior development, u14, u12 and u10.

Please note that you need to be vetted by your club or the track commission before you are allowed to ride Cat 1 or 2.  New riders must start in Cat 3.

Times and program

Registration starts at 6pm and racing will start at 7pm.

1. CAT A – 1 Lap Chariot race – Heats 6 riders per heat – 3 riders to next round.

2. CAT B/ Ladies – 1 Lap Chariot race – Heats 6 riders per heat. 3 riders to next round.

3. U/16 – 1 Lap Chariot race – Heats 6 riders per heat. 3 riders to next round.

4. Jnr Development – 3 Lap Scratch

5. CAT C – 3 Lap Scratch

6. CAT A – Chariot Race – Round 2 and Final 1st 6 riders /2nd 6 riders

7. CAT B/Ladies – Chariot Race – Round 2 and Final 1st 6 riders /2nd 6 riders

8. U/16 – Chariot Race – Round 2 and Final 1st 6 riders /2nd 6 riders

9. CAT A – 8 Km Mystery Points – First rider score random points every 4 laps

10. CAT B/Ladies – 6 Km Mystery Points – First rider score random points every 4 laps

11. U/16 – 6 Km Mystery Points – First rider score random points every 4 laps

12. CAT C – 5 Km Scratch

13. Jnr Development – 3 KM Scratch

14. CAT A/CAT B/Ladies/U16 Italian Pursuit – 5 riders per team

15. CAT C – 1500 m Final

16. Jnr Development – 1500m Final

17. U/16 – Elimination

18. CAT B/Ladies – Elimination

19. CAT A – Elimination

Online registration and costs

Entry fees is again a super low and as follows;

• Cat 1 – R70
• Cat 2 and 3 – R50
• Youth – R20 (this excludes racing juniors)
