If you back brake was leaking how on earth did the fluid get on the "front fork" (there is only one fork on your bike by the way).Back brake has a lever on the handle bars which sits over the front fork. The fluid was leaking from the lever NOT the caliper.!!
Paul Ruinaard Posted June 12, 2015 Posted June 12, 2015 Mate - you going in to a lot of detail - olives and hoses are pretty inter changeable. Tektro is not a cutting edge stopper and with the money you spent repairing average brakes you could have got yourself a set of Shimano SLX stoppers or been well on the way there. my 2 cents worth TBH repairs are getting like the IT industry where you just discard the assembly and replace with a new one when needed.
