Absolute Black Oval Chainring on mtb

Hi

I just want to find out if an oval chainring will help for recovering from a knee injury.

Last year I was in a accident and broke my knee, I still have some knee pain especially on hard days or power climbs.

I am currently running a 1x 11 set up with 32t absolute black upfront.I am considering changing to a 32t absolute black oval ring. (32/30)

Any feedback will be appreciated.

I have that exact chainring.

It's very good and you definitely notice a smoother power output - for your purpose it'll probably be what you're looking for.
