Homewardbound Challenge

Has anyone here done the Homewardbound Challende before? Could you please give some reviews/ comments on it?

My husband and friend did it last year and will be doing again this year. (im the driver not mad enough to ride)  Weather was not kind last year, very muddy, cold and wet but not bad enough to have put them off the ride.  The route this year is going all the way to the coast.  If you can bear spending 15 - 20 hours on a bike non stop, its well worth it.
