94.7 MTB 55km Race Stop?

The heat was unbearable so don't blame them for stopping the race. I am just glad I managed to cross the line and tick this off my list.

 

I was already suffering heat exhaustion at 20km. The thought of another 35km was killing me. Had to stop twice in the shade to recover. Second time I was on the verge of fainting, but still had 6km to go - so pushed through.

Having flu did not help either.

 

I was supposed to be A6 and like a tool started in A8. My own stupidity and inability to remember my own batch. Sigh...
