Atkv Hartenbos has a 25m swimming pool behind the supertube. You pay R50 for a key and can swim between 17:00 and 19:00 in evening and the morning. There a group of swimmers already. Lots if cyclist and runners on the road. On 26th Dec there is a road bike and mountain bike competition which is great. Enjoy

I was there one morning. I guess it's something if you really are desperate to train. By desperate I mean willing to endure the remnants of kiddie pool activities: hair, bandages, etc. And 2m visibility. And it's 1m deep as well. It's probably not that bad, but I'd prefer the open water option.

 

I'll be in HTB from the 3rd again so I'm quite keen to join group training (I don't do solo openwater)!

Thanks all. Got a key this afternoon so gonna give the pool a try tomorrow morning. Still keen to try Santos beach sometime for an experience so Koei or anyone else if you keen let me know. Here until 8th.
