Fast fossils (aka The Boomer Boys)

After a long break from 'racing' I am keen to have a bit of fun out on the tracks but would like to do it in the company of similarly grumpy old men (and women).

 

Would anybody like to join me in forming an association (not a club) of Grand Master aged mtb riders(60+).

 

The purpose would simply be to be able to combine knowledge and energies to create opportunities for folks who can still remember adding machines, flaps at school, typewriters, Studebakers, real policemen, Steven Stills, Nash & Young, CCR, the first bikini in SA, etc. (remember when a dominee blamed a drought in the early 60' s on women wearing mini-skirts -on national radio nogal!).

Great idea - where are you based in Jhb. I'm in westrand. I would suggest that we don't exclude road cycling as well as a lot of us do both.
