Hi Dean Will post a full description if Stage 1 as soon as its finished.. we need to cut some overgrowth still and want it to be a totally clear before guys head out. Once public please feel free to ride it ..the more it gets ridden the clearer it stays

You WILL be DQ'd and you WILL be prosecuted, banned and named 'n shamed.No mercy. - Ride within your limits. You are never as good as you think you are, Teeth are expensive. - Have a annual membership or a day licence and have your board mounted on your bike or have the day licence available for inspection- No helmet, No ride. Simple.- Remember the Enduro runs cross over other trails that are live and active up until race day. Be aware of other riders and courteous at all times- This is the PLANNED Stage 1..it may change before race day if circumstances change- Track has been cleared but dont expect it clear as a freeway. It will be re-cleared before race day- Please report anything (trail/conditions/illegal rider etc) with as many details as you have directly to info@howickmountainbiking.co.za The route is UNMARKED at this stage Stage 1 per trails name : - Firetower (start)- Gums/Pines- Duza Ngulubhe- Mind the Gap- Red Face Hill- Rooty Fruity- Lurker Lane- Middle Rd (finish)

Griffin Posted February 2, 2016 Author Posted February 2, 2016 Quick poll/question.... We thinking of offering a "Ballies and Brats" team option for the Enduro. Basically what that means is that a team will consist of an adult and a youngster (u16) who ride individually but whose times are added/combined. The fastest team wins a prize on the day. Think this is a good way to get some Dads off the couch and some kids away from the TV ?

Griffin Posted February 3, 2016 Author Posted February 3, 2016 Good news...I think Clearing of Stage 3 of the Enduro route is going well and should be done by Friday. I will then post the a map and description and open it for riding/practice. I have decided to release Stage 3 before Stage 2 as Stage 2 has some exposed sections which need to be brushcut.. and because they are exposed the undergrowrth re-grows very quickly. I am trying to avoid brushcutting/clearing to only have to go back and re-do it all just before the event.
