Rear shock swop Anthem to KTM Scarp Prime

I have an option to buy a KTM Scarp Prime carbon full Sus frame.

 

The eye to eye measurement for the rear shock  on the Scarp frame is 175mm and on the Anthem 165mm.

 

Can i use the same rear shock from the Anthem on the Scarp or will i need to replace

 

The current rear shock on the Anthem is a Rockshoc Monarch RT as was on the bike when i purchased it new 3 years ago

 

Any advice/comments please

No it won't work. The leverage ratios of the linkages differ, hence the different eye to eye lengths.

Don't buy a frame without a shock. Every frame has a shock tune that works with it, and if you slap in a different shock, it won't work as the designers intended.

Its a warranty replacement with only the mount for the front derailleur that i cracked. Getting at a good price except no shock.

 

Spec sheet says it comes with a Fox Float CTD Boost valve W3 but cant find it on the Fox website
