EXCELLENT AFTER-SALES SERVICE

Hi Guys. I recently bought a road bike from Caledonion Cycles in Muizenberg. I wanted to upgrade to something good, but my budget was a bit stretched, so I was compelled to buy a second-hand machine (upon insistence of the boss-lady). On my second weekend ride around Cape Point, I had a spoke-snap on the front wheel. This was a big blow, as training-time for Argus Tour was VERY limited. I called the owner of the shop to explain my predicament (especially as the spokes on that wheel are not readily available) He made great effort to help me solve my problem even though it can be understood that no-one can guarantee against spoke-snap on a second-hand wheel. Eventually, he offered to take in the wheel-set and replaced it with a similar set at no additional cost. This is truly great After-sales service in my books !!! Good business principle dictates that its not only about the money you can extract from clients, but building relationships of mutual trust. I feel strongly that businesses like these need to be supported so they can grow.
