What POS does your bike shop use?

You will probably find (I do) that most large shops use a pos system and the rest don't care.

 

The main reason is the schlep of keeping the items and inventory up to date. e.g New bikes/items come in but they do not have the time to create the new items now they need to sell the stuff but it is not loaded so they use an open item or something similar. Eventually the value of the pos system is lost.

 

We market 2 brands of pos systems and have found that it is really only the shops that are looking to have online sales that do the effort to keep things up to date.
