Montagu pass

Hi all.

 

I'm currently on vacation in South Africa and have reached Wilderness.

 

I've brought my road bike with me and have been enjoying some amazing rides in your stunning country.

 

Tomorrow I've been looking at a route that would take me up the Montagu pass, but - as I learnt this morning on a ride around the 7 Passes Road area - some of the roads around here are unpaved and more suited to a MTB.

 

So I'm wondering if anyone can please advise me whether I'll be okay getting up the Montagu pass on skinny tyres.

No worries

, Montague Pass is not hard on a bike on the way up. Mostly smooth sand road, with some minor corrugations on the Top side.. But not to worry at all.
