Let me please throw the Benoni Country Club MTB Trails into the mix. A bit of a way to travel, but worth the journey.

 

We offer three trail routes ranging from 6km suitable for novices up to a 16.2km loop for the experienced cyclist including a number of technical obstacles (which can all be bypassed).

 

Do not dismiss the short distance, the 16.2km best lap time is 52 min. Few cyclists manage 2 full laps.

 

The trail is primarily single track through forested areas. You will enjoy the abundant wildlife and birdlife including blesbok, springbok, duiker, steenbok, rabbit, mongoose and hundreds of guinea fowl.

 

Entry fee is R 30.00 per adult. Children under 16 ride for free.

 

The club offers 1st class change rooms with shower facilities, safe parking, plenty of food options and a childrens play area for young children.
