Eboracum Posted June 1, 2016 Posted June 1, 2016 The tandem attack was on me, riding with my daughter. It was actually on Victoria Drive, at the oval racing track. Three youths repeatedly attempted to stab us, fortunately failing but managed to pull us down on the sand verge. They took cellphone but ran off as vehicles approached - undoubtedly saved the situation from becoming far worse. Yes, stupid decision to ride this road...figured lunchtime on Sunday would be OK, but clearly this is a no-go road at any time for solitary bikes. Also heard of the attack on Glendore Rd, near to the pub; the old racecourse seems to be the bolt-hole for these scum-bags.
