New Helmet time

Hey Guys

 

I ride single track and trails around Cape Town. Want to get into DH but as I'm starting nothing hectic for a while. Don't feel the need for full face at the moment.

 

Iv been given cash for my bday and saved up. I'd like to get a MIPS helmet for safety's sake as I won't be buying a new one for a while after this unless damaged.

 

I'm looking at the BELL SUPER 2R for around R4600. Steep price but I can then use it as a full face (realize not fully DH rated) but as I'm still new to DH i think it would be perfect. Any other helmets I can look at even at a much lower price that you guys have tried out? Open to all suggestions as the super2R is just an idea atm. Could go cheaper and rather get some other components..,

Howzit, you should check out Dial'd Bikes range of enduro MIPS helmets which are awesome helmets.
