MEC's car catches fires after hitting cyclist?

I am not sure what exactly happened, but been reading statements of condolence for North West MEC Kgagamatso Nkwewu, who died after the car she was in hit a cyclist. The car rolled and she was thrown out of it, apparenty.

 

From a DA statement: "MEC Nkwe was killed in an accident on the N18 in Vryburg while travelling from Mahikeng to Taung on Thursday afternoon. Her vehicle caught fire after it collided with a cyclist."  

 

The cyclist reportedly died too. The MEC's minders were hospitalised.

There is another thread somewhere on here.  Somehow I think that karma did not waste to much time here.  I know that piece of road is typical to North West regional roads narrow.  I assume the cyclist hit would be a local commuter rather than a recreational cyclist.
