I can't comment on the CGC site, but the CSA site is maintained well, and although not visually exciting as it could be it's a stands out by comparison with the rest of cycling sites in SA.  The overall quality of cycling website design is not bad - it's sh*t.

Whilst some of these things are the responsibility of other organisations or just nice-to-have's, the riders want them sorted out so that they can have an exciting race that runs smoothly right from first idea to bragging to your friends that you're on TV.

 

As an organiser you can't blame someone else when things go wrong. The rider has paid the money and wants good service!

Hence my road fixing comment...

 

100% agreement. That's what I'm looking for here - how far can organisers go to ensure a FUNTASTIC event? No holds barred, no limits, no excuses...
