I would not recommend any seats that are not safety compliant - proper back support, safety harness, foot cups etc. I'm sure you all have proper, safety compliant car seats and would spend a little extra to ensure your childs safety in your vehicle, so I don't see why you wouldn't opt for the same on your bike....
