Q4 Platberg Classic MTB race Harrismith 12 November 2016

 

Platberg Mountain and Harrismith is right in the middle from Johannesburg,Durban and Bloemfontein so that makes this race the perfect getaway for the weekend to enjoy the beautiful view of the Drakensberg mountain and at some points in the distance Sterkfontein dam.

Venue: Platberg Eco park

Start time: 50km is 7:30 entry fee is R200

25km is 7:45 entry fee is R150

10km is 8:00 entry fee is R50

Bouttime will handle the entries and timing for us online entries will close 7 November 2016 there will be entry’s on the day off the race Saterday 12 November 2016 from 6:00 to 7:00 for all distances it will cost you R30 extra on race day.

Water points: 50km race will have 2 water points

25km race will have 1 water point

50km route: The 50km route will be everything you can think of it has jeep track, Single track, technical climbing and descending be prepared for the decent home!

25km route: The 25km route is a much more friendly route for the mtb’er that is starting of, it also consists of some jeep track, single track and some very nice single track descending home!

10km route: The 10km route will be fun for old and jong with mostly jeep track and little single track.
