Hout Bay Ride 11/09/16

Hi,

 

I'm a student over from Cambridge University, England for a few days and think I will have time to hire a road bike on Sunday, was wondering if anyone fancied a ride? Happy to ride any distance really, and can probably drive a bit if needed to find some people who know the roads,

Hout Bay has a constant stream of people riding through over the weekends.  Unfortunately I won't be one of them this Sunday.

 

What I suggest is that you ride to the bottom of Chapman's Peak fairly early (7ish) on Sunday morning (or the bottom of Suikerbossie), and catch a group that's going at a suitable speed.  Speak to them as you ride up and find out where they're going.  Most groups will be happy to have you ride with them.

 

Head for Chapman's Peak if you fancy heading towards the south, Suikerbossie if you fancy heading towards town.
