Missing axle

Hi People,

 

This is a long shot, but I'm hoping it may pay-off. I got to Jonkers this morning at 6.30 intending to ride, only to find that my front axle is missing. I last rode my bike at Eden on Tuesday evening and had to take my front wheel off in order to fit the bike into my car. I think that I may have dropped the axle in the parking area. If, by chance, someone has picked it up and can let me know, I would greatly appreciate it.

The axle is off a Fox 140/180 Talas - 20mm thru-axle. I understand that they are difficult to replace.
