eccc whippet Posted December 6, 2016 Posted December 6, 2016 yip it is that time of year again...time to unwind...relax and enjoy time with family and friends.Even though it was a really challenging year with regards to business and finances...in general it has been a good year.witnessed a terrible accident which left 2 mates dead...which at first turned me away from cycling for a while...but since i got back on the bike has driven me to push harder and ride more often.joined a club and met lots of good people.achieved all my goals.lost weight.spent time out riding with the group who got me started...spent more time laughing a joking around than actually riding.but the highlight of my year has to be the 2 km ride with my daughter this weekend...watching her smiling and loving the ride had to be the highlight for me this year...when she got a medal...that was the cherry on top.(note to race organisers)
