Where: Oaksprings Farm, Mooi River, Kwazulu-Natal

Route Six 2 Two Trails is a weekend like no other. We believe that family and friends is everything and with this in mind we have designed the weekend to include all members of the family, with activities such as beach volleyball and Clay Pigeon Shooting so that everyone can get involved. The race is situated an hour and a half outside of Durban and is four hours from Johannesburg, making it the perfect opportunity for all to escape for an amazing weekend.

Route Six 2 Two Trails will be offering the following:

- A two day trail running challenge,

- A two day mountain bike challenge.

Mountain Bike Stage Race

Day 1 (Mount to Mount) (70km)

Day one is known as the Mount to Mount day, as the course will take you up the beautiful and tough riding of Mount West and Mount Gilboa. There will be the two water tables on top of both the Mounts. This day also consists of riding through an abundance of forestry which will blow your mind in its beauty. The single track through the forests is an experience like no other race.

Day 2 (Bush and Falls) (60km)

The second day will take you through the bush tracks. Be warned- these are long and challenging, but the challenge is well worth it as it leads you to the Zulu Falls, the sound of which can be heard long before you see how breath taking it is. The falls is also one of our water points, so you can take a moment to soak in the views. The next part of the race will take you around Craigie Burn Dam which is its own delight by itself and will be a brief moment of respite before the climb back home to the finish line.

Trail Runs

There will be two trail runs that will take you through the most beautiful terrain that the area has to offer. The Oak run will allow you to see more of the breath taking scenery that is on offer. This run will test your mental strength and will be physically challenging. The shorter run or the Gum run allows people to enjoy the challenges of trail running and offers great exposure for beginner runners.
