Oh, and give trader feedback once the deal is done. For all the deals that you do, because that's what it's for.

Your experience is either 1:Positive

                                        2:Neutral

                                        3:Negative

It's pretty damn simple

It should be simple, but sometimes it's not.  And is trader feedback only for a deal that is done?  What if buyer and seller reach an agreement and the deal goes wrong for some reason?  Here's an example: I advertised wheels for sale or swap.  Reached an agreement with a hubber for a swap.  We are in different provinces, so I arranged to have the wheels delivered to a point near him, he would collect and leave wheels there to be returned to me.  We spoke on the phone beforehand and I sent pictures (I asked lots of questions, but he seemed fine and didn't ask much).  In addition to the wheels, I also paid him R200 for used brake pads for the wheels.  I then get a call from the guy when he's at the point to collect the wheels.  He's unhappy with the wheels and claiming all kinds of things wrong with them (incidentally, I then swapped with the 2nd guy who had contacted me and he was completely happy with the deal).  In addition, he's very upset because it took him over an hour to get to the point due to an accident on the highway (like that is my fault).  The part that really upset me though is that I've also paid him for R200 for brake pads.  He informs me (no negotiation), that he's keeping the pads AND the R200 for his time and petrol going to the collection point.  I also "wasted" time organising and taking the wheels to the drop off point for delivery.  I do my best to describe condition of items accurately.  But sometimes there seem to be people that, despite what you say, are expecting to pay used price and receive item in brand new condition.  And even if they are not happy, then return it.  But I don't agree with the guy just deciding he gets to keep the money.

So, as no deal was concluded, do I leave feedback or not?  And if I do, then this guy would also likely leave negative feedback for me as he feels he's justified in doing what he did.  Doesn't seem quite so simple to me, at least in some scenarios.
