Mongooser Posted February 13, 2017 Share Roughly in july last year I was happily doing no footers on my izumi,I couldn't ride for 2 months got a new bike, and can't get myself to take my feet of the pedals anymore . I've drilled the technique on flat ground for hours and still can't bring myself to it,I never slipped a pedal learning em so I don't have and good reason not to,Any suggestions to get them back? When i learnt them when I was to short to no foot can now I can actually easily on flat ground do it and get my legs over the frame, really want to do them again... SkidMarko Posted February 28, 2017 Share That is one of my favorites. Firstly wearing good shin guards helps me with my confidence. You could try doing one footers first to gain more confidence but I find no footers are actually easier. Just tell yourself before you hit it that you are going to do it - and do it! :-) That has always worked for me! Also, I like to get the feet off just as I leave the lip and get them back on after a good full extension. Hope this helps pal
