I agree the win is out of Berto's reach, but watch him try!

Contador and co are making inroads and the gap between them and the head of the race is coming down towards the one-minute mark.

55 seconds now for the Contador group. There are still 50-odd riders in there, so they have, in theory, double the firepower of the lead group.
