BAG TRANSPORT

Each participant is allowed to bring 1 bag or box of maximum 100L capacity. This bag/box has to be handed in at the designated bag drop area before the race start each morning. The organizers will then transport the bags to the next race village.

TENTED ACCOMMODATION

If you choose full entry option, we will supply a 3 man tent per team with 2 single mattresses.

Solo riders will get a 2 man tent with one single mattress.

The tented accommodation is for the two nights during the race.

Pre-event and post-event accommodation should be organized by participants themselves.

Riders have to bring their own linen / bedding.

All ablution facilities will be available at each race village.

MEALS

The prize-giving braai is included in all entry options.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner will only be served to those who have chosen the full package.

Additional prize-giving lunches (for family and friends) can be booked and paid for with your online entry.

Meals will be finger licking good, generous servings of food.

​

BIKE RINSE AREA

There will be an area where bikes will be rinsed and lubed free of charge. Please note that this is not a full bike wash but just a rinse. If you would like to have a full bike wash, you can give it in at the Bike Tech Zone where the guys will do a full wash at R100 per wash.

BIKE TRANSPORT AND SHUTTLE SERVICE

Bike transport and shuttle services from the finish back to the start will be available at additional cost.

Vehicles can be left at the start venue (Ezemvelo)

Open Men, Open Women, 40+ Men, 40+ Women, 50+ Men, 50+ Women

 

AID STATIONS

There will be 3 aid stations placed at strategic points along the route each day.

 

SAFETY / MEDICAL

Comprehensive EMS will be present at the event

A full medical team will be present at the start of each day to ensure every athlete is fit enough to take part.

The same medical staff will also be present at the finish of each stage to ensure assistance for any athletes in need after and through the rest of the day and night.

Safety and route briefings will be held before the start of each stage.
