He was on the brink of leaving Bicycling about three years ago to work at Best Life magazine, but the whole Bike Town project changed his mind. And they made him a Senior Vice President of Bicycling... We've hosted him in Cape Town a few times and know for sure that langoustines could well be his staple diet if that ever became a possibility!
