Spotted a Stolen Bike

Hi All 

 

I spotted a Merida Mtb Black and Green with little white this evening.  The saddle has been change to a normal cheap seat.  It is not a new frame but it is definitely not a entry level steel frame.  I did report it to Plumstead Police station.  The new owner of the bicycle works at Osmans Spaza Shop down the road from Plumstead Pick n Pay filling gas bottles.  When the police confronted him he claimed he got the bike from Makro after his bike got stolen. He needs to provide them with papers tomorrow.   I have a feeling he might not pitch for work tomorrow.

 

Reason after he saw me inspecting the bike he moved it out of sight.  As far as my knowlage goes Makro does not sell Merida brand.
