Thank you for all the replies. I am looking at buying a 29er seeing that I had a 26er. Which one would you prefer between a merida big nine 20d vs a giant revel? I am looking at buying hardtail (for now) Any thoughts and ideas?

I started on a Revel.Unbreakable but quite heavy @ 16kg.Evetually decided to buy a lighter bike second hand .Decided what I wanted to spend ,did some research and watched Hub classifieds and when it came I jumped .Cyclosport in Kuilsrivier did a trade in and I got lucky and paid half price for a top end bike that had been serviced.Best of luck
