Lance Roberts Posted October 13, 2017 Posted October 13, 2017 I got a helicoil fitted to one of my older forks and it worked perfectly. Just get someone to fit it that knows what he's doing, the newly drilled hole has to be the correct size for the helicoil to fit nice a snug.

If you can get it to Stoke, go that route - what will cause you lots of fiddling and possible frustration the pros will sort out in a couple mins - and that way you know it's done right
