MTB setup on Tacx Flux - working

Thought i would post my findings here for the guys that want to try this setup as well. . I want to use a mtb frame because i have one laying around. I realised from research the a mtb and or long cage derailer is not usable on the flux. Well this is not true. With a compromise up front you are set to go. If you play with the chain lenth and be prepared to have a 1x setup then you are able to make it work. I set up a 1x9 36 at the back with no issues on either a 42 and 36 chainring. At the correct chainlength the derailer will move past the leg before high enough up to touch it... This is a long cage shadow derailer btw....
