What pressure are you running in the shock? Is it the Fox shock? Haven't got mine dialled in properly yet and think I'm probably running it a bit hard. I'm around your weight.

120 Rear & 75 Front.

Sorry, both Fox.

so I set it up approximately right last night

The annoyingly simple advice you always get on this forum - get a proper bike setup done by a pro.  It will feel like an even more capable bike

I have the Top Fuel and love it.  The first thing you notice is its superior climbing ability.  Agree about the twitchyness downhill, once my XR2 are done I may switch to something a bit more grippy.

Thanks for that.

I said "approximately" because the pro setup is being done tomorrow morning. :-)

Gotcha on tyres. Off they go then to be replaced by something else.

Re the Re:Aktiv shock and its disappearance, early reports from Trek dealers seem to indicate that they are finding the 2019 model with the Fox DPS doesn't make as efficient a platform as the 2018 model with the Re:Aktive shock. There's also some talk about Fox developing its own proprietary design to replace the Re:Aktive. My take is something has happened around royalties or license fees payable to Penske or something similar.
