Hey bro nobody here has suggested, in the slightest, that he shouldn't face judgment for his actions. What he did is wrong and he should be punished for it if, and this is a big if, the court decides so. However from what's known it is clear that at the very least an intervention needs to happen as he has issues that need to be dealt with. Why? Because that's the humane thing to do. Empathy shouldn't be withheld just because you don't like what he did.

 

Just like it would be the humane thing for the relevant authorities to help the woman he assaulted. I am sure she never set out to be prostitute but one way or another she did.

 

Surely, if in your eyes, she deserves help and support why doesn't Ullrich? Isn't he as human as you are? Or the rest of us?

That our choices in life can define us for better or worse? Make no mistake I don't like what Armstrong did and don't like his arrogance much either. However I do respect the way he has gotten on with his life regardless of public opinion. And that makes his a voice worth listening too, even if you don't agree with his opinion on things.
