Shimano Deore BR-M6000 brakes

I bought this new set of brakes to replace the uber reliable but 'two finger lever' m395/6's. I needed a single finger pull lever. The M6000 is essentially the SLX of a couple of years ago with the same performance. Price from Cajees Horison was seriously good and although I fitted the brakeset, they cut and reconnected the hoses free. I also matched the brakes with RT66 rotors.

First ride today. Brakes bedded in quickly and i was soon riding and braking without needing to think about the different characteristics which are quite different from the very modulated, progressive, predictable 395's.

For the price and performance, I am glad that I didn'go for a set of expensive slx. M6000 brakes are no longer the poor cousn of slx - just its older less polished brother
