I recently purchased a wheelset. Online it says its a boost wheelset. I only discovered a few days ago that the front hub is not boost and has only been converted with a end cap to make it fit my boost fork. I measured a boost and my non boost and theres a big difference between the 2 hubs. Is this false advertising? Should i insist on getting the hub swopped for a real boost hub and not a converted one?

Thanks.

Was it bought new and from a shop? I'd say unless they stated in the advert it was a converted set with original Hope kit (and you're not into it) then send them back (and get them to pay for the shipping)!

If a private seller I'd also pull him / her up and ask for a full refund but as we all know, sometimes people can be dodgy.

Hey Tbob. I bought them new at a shop, online order.

Check the ad and the fine print (or post here) and if it's specific about the hubset being boost then call them out. Seems a but of a shifty move but I don't know the full extent of the deal.
