Johnny 55 Posted March 23, 2020 Share I recently purchased a wheelset. Online it says its a boost wheelset. I only discovered a few days ago that the front hub is not boost and has only been converted with a end cap to make it fit my boost fork. I measured a boost and my non boost and theres a big difference between the 2 hubs. Is this false advertising? Should i insist on getting the hub swopped for a real boost hub and not a converted one? I'd say unless they stated in the advert it was a converted set with original Hope kit (and you're not into it) then send them back (and get them to pay for the shipping)! Check the ad and the fine print (or post here) and if it's specific about the hubset being boost then call them out. Seems a but of a shifty move but I don't know the full extent of the deal.
