Compatible 12 speed options for Wahoo Kickr

I bought a new mountain bike which I intend to also use on my Wahoo Kickr.  The bike comes with the following specs:

 

 

• Rear derailleur - Shimano XTR RD-M9100 SGS, Shadow Plus, 12-speed
• Cassette - Shimano XT CS-M8100-12, 10-51 tooth, 12-speed
• Chain - Shimano XT CN-M8100

I'm battling to find an affordable and compatible cassette to use on my Wahoo Kickr.  Anybody else had this issue and managed to resolve it?  I was told that the SRAM NX 12 speed cassette won't be compatible with my chain even though it's compatible with the Kickr.
