Tracx E-Thru Axle Skewer MTB

Hey if this is in the wrong category please let me know.

A few months ago I got the silverback stratos al 5 only getting started with riding again and I've not gotten a lot of time to ride it yet as I work till 12am and the other half works till 4am so riding is a bit hard for em at those times.

So I got myself a tacx blue matic to have some training in the week and riding on some weekends.
I have 2 questions being new to all this after years of not riding at all.

1. I need to get a adapter for the axle skewer and want to confirm this would be the correct one I did measure the space after taking off the back wheel ant it seems to be around 140mm so it should fit but I want to avoid disappointment.

2. I will also need to get a slick tyre  and after searching I saw a post here https://community.bikehub.co.za/topic/182923-29er-slicks/

About fitting road tyres, and it seems that it would fit a 29er also just want to make sure I should be ok buying these to put on my back rim.
