Will my Sram Eagle SX cassette work with a Stan’s Neo Durasync 12 x 148mm Shimano Hub?

My knowledge is very limited when it comes to the hub.

I'm looking to buy this wheelset https://www.takealot.com/stan-s-bicycle-wheelset-mtb-crest-s1-29-110-148/PLID68586356, but I'm not sure if the hub is compatible with my cassette?

I'm riding a Scott Scale 940 for some background info. Currently have the stock Shimano FH-MT400-B CL / Boost 12x148mm hub in there. (Link to current bike spec: https://99spokes.com/en/bikes/scott/2020/scale-940)

Yes, it is compatible. But, why do you want to “upgrade”? Is your current hub non-functional? What are you trying to achieve with a wheelset with Stans Crest rims?

Spokes are starting to break and the front hub is also slowly deteriorating. I've serviced the hub once, opened it myself and its kinda past the point of repair. Spoke to a few bike shops and wheels are the best upgrade I can do on the bike. It'll also allow me to put on different disk rotors in the future. With the current price of a rear hub vs a new wheel set, I can get so much more value for money by just biting the bullet now and upgrading my wheels

Fair enough. I might get some flak here from the Stans fanboys, but I've only seen hassles and admin with their rims and the warranty procedure doesn't look all that great if the shop you're dealing with isn't on your side.

There are a couple of other options around the same price, but the options are all subjective opinions. I'd be happy to drop a couple of links in a chat.
