Nedbank Tour de Tuli - Africa’s wildest ride

The Nedbank Tour de Tuli, now in its 18th year, is an award-winning, exclusive African mountain biking tour, offering 350 riders access to single tracks, unmarked routes and ancient game trails across wilderness areas in three countries. The event, hosted in July, is the primary fundraiser for the Children in the Wilderness organisation.

Children in the Wilderness is a non-profit organisation supported by conservation tourism company Wilderness Safaris, the Nedbank Tour de Tuli and countless volunteers. Its aim is to facilitate sustainable conservation through leadership development and education of children in Africa.

Distance(s):

300 km (60-80 kms per day)

Route:

This year’s route will once again traverse the Greater Mapungubwe Transfrontier Conservation Area, which includes South Africa, Zimbabwe and Botswana

Riding will be predominantly along ancient elephant trails, allowing riders the opportunity of experiencing wonderful scenery, cultural interaction and seeing wildlife.

Each year the route is altered to ensure that the Tour remains exciting and continues to incorporate new areas that we are allowed to traverse.
