7Weekspoort MTB and Trail Run Challenge, hosted by Ladismith Cheese, in the beautiful town of Ladismith, in the Western Cape. The event is a community project where locals are eager and ready to welcome cyclist and runners from all over the province.

MTB distances 29km, 43km and 85km and the Trail Run distances 10km and 29km.

Haven't ridden the race for years, but I seem to remember there was a section of track through the orchards to get back to the finish. However we're talking dirt path, not technical single track. 

Having said that, I rode up & down Seweweekspoort in early January on my gravel bike and it was pretty corrugated. Nothing unmanageable at all, but you're likely to be faster on the return on a decent FS mtb.
